Is trading in small cap companies more profitable in because of large swings in supply and demand?
buying a large quantity of shares in a small company which some days has 0 volume trading, but still has a lot of shares **not sold yet**. would this swing the price due to me buying a large quantity while there are lots of shares available for sale from the company. although i’m the only person making large trades on that stock
The largest problem you would have when buying stock that sometimes has a volume a zero is that it will be very difficult to sell your stock if nobody is buying. Then you may have to sell it for much less.
